My favorite hobby is landscape photography. It is fun to seek out intriguing and complex scenes and snippets of the world and to preserve them. Knowing that there are so many ways to view a point in time, I like to find my favorite view and then show that to new audiences. To be able to present the world as you see it can be very powerful, and a very cool way to communicate. Below are some neat shots and some thoughts behind them.
There are many techniques of photography that I try to incorporate into each shot. The most prominent techniques I use in my work are a balanced composition and a lively contrast in size and color of the components of the image.
